If you are job-less, try these tips:

  • Network, network, network! Free social networking career sites, like LinkedIn, may be helpful.
  • Twitter is not just for tweets! You can follow job listings and updates. Use your Twitter account to market yourself.
  • Sell some of your stuff for extra cash until you find a job. Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace are good local sites that do not charge to list items.
  • Apply for everything! Broaden your field searches and apply for things that might deviate slightly from your ideal position.
